I enjoyed my listen to this, but Suzanne makes some good points. With a bit more practise this will be even better. Timing was a bit out but the advantage of soul songs is that you often have a greater margin for ad-lib and it can work. Some of the notes you missed, but again nothing a bit more practise can't fix. If the song is slightly out of your range (and this is by no means the easiest of songs) you may wish to transpose the key - down 3 steps usually works for me. But whatever you do, keep at it because you are definitely improving as a singer. Also, you have a decent falsetto, and a nice soft vibrato as we heard at the end of the song - you should use this more. |

This is a tough song to sing. I do not critique because I feel I am not qualified. Enjoyed hearing you sing this. :-) |

Well, you know what I always tell ya....learn the song better. Rhythm and tune are way off. Learning the song, how it's supposed to go, is half the battle.
I think this one is a little too high for you, but bravo for trying it. It's a tough one! You clearly had fun with it, and that's a plus! |
