I am deeply saddened to hear of Pam passing. She was as fun as they come. I was blessed to get to know her over some months of contact, and she was a lovely person. This is a moving duet, and she so loved doing them. I'm not a duet person but was fortunate to do a couple with her. They will always be treasures for me. She is with our Lord and probably singing up a storm with her great pal Don right now. God love her. |

Hi John. Amazing recording with our friend in her harmony role in your beautiful song. One that I shall keep in my Pam collection. I know Pam was struggling to keep making music in her last few months. We did manage to put one together back in December which we both decided would come out after the holidays. As you will see in my subsequent submittal, the title now takes on a whole new meaning for me. We had our own little channel on skype these past few years where we shared a lot of things going on in our lives, the music we both loved and just listened when the other needed to vent. She spoke highly of many in SS and you were among those in that category. Remembering our mutual friend with a heavy heart.....Brad |

johnbaum performs Amazing Grace With Pam Vega Acapella on Karaoke Showcase of Karaoke Scene Magazine Online: johnbaum performs Amazing Grace With Pam Vega Acapella on Karaoke Showcase - I posted this Acapella version of Amazing Grace back on 9/26/23 as a dedication to my Mother-In-Law who has since passed away. On 10/9/2023 Pam sent me an e-mail with this version of my song with her Harmonies included saying "I hope you don't mind if I added some harmony. It's such a beautiful and heart touching dedication it immediately moved me to sing along." Of course I didn't mind and she knew I wouldn't. A couple of other e-mails between us followed where she told me of some of her health issues. My last couple e-mails to her to check on her went unanswered until I got the message as many others did of her passing. This song may have been her very last recording but I'm not sure about that.
Pam was a wonderful person as we all know. It simply wasn't in her to write a short comment on anyone's song. She loved to sing and loved listening to anyone else sing as well. I will truly miss Pam and her witty comments as well as the private e-mails that she would send. I Miss her....
