KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - mav2100 performs Night And Day on Karaoke Showcase - I have subbed this song before, but the last time was in January of 2017. If you have heard it before and/or have a written excuse from your Doctor, please feel free to skip right over it. The story began ten years ago after my best friend Don had a stroke. He was convinced that he would never sing, or play any of his instruments again. Being the friend that I am LOL!! I forced him to fill in the blanks on this track which I extended to add plenty of space for a sax solo. The rest is history, I think he was an amazing musician on many levels, but this sax solo is Absolutely Extraordinary. This is a tribute to my best friend Don Janson who passed away in his home in the UK on August 18th 2019. I will miss him forever. Thank you for listening. Love yas, Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam

singandplay You do everything well, but jazz has an even greater excellence to it. Don was superb on this. I miss him and I didn't even know him :)
Reply: Wow I didn't expect this comment at all. I thought this song was buried and forgotten years ago. LOL! Thank you so much Paul. This is one of my absolute favorites as I attribute it to Don's valiant return to music after his stroke. I too, thought he was superb on this. He was a dear friend and I will miss him always. Thank you for this awesome comment. Now ya made me cry! You are Da Man!! I appreciate you! Mwahhhhhhhhhhh, Pam

Cantstopsinging Wow..such a story..and as fate would have it, you were meant to post this today. This collaboration, I felt was done on a spiritual high that a love for a genre can bring. You both sailed right along. It's never been a song I cared for but your vocal precision on this made this ear candy for me. Keep em coming!
Reply: Jazz was my dad's genre, actually I met Don when he shared a track for a song I remember my father sing. Of course he died when I was almost nine. There is not a whole lot I remember about him. I sent him a thank you message and we have been friends since. Thank you so much for listening to this one again. I know you have heard it before. He was a special man as you know.Thank you for the heart felt message. I know you understand. You are the Best Joyce. Thank you for being you. Mwahhhhh, Pam
