Their freaking program doesn't play any video format, at least my copy doesn't. Their support sucks crap. Almost as bad as Latshaw does. Put in a support ticket for my issue, Compuhost won't play any video format yet I can play them fine in Siglos, OpenKJ and Hoster. I am trying to speed up access to the new Sound Choice songs but my choices are this, Compuhost with the GEM Series subscription, paying $200 a month for the GEM Series itself and then an annual fee of $25 and then $10 a month after that. The only other choice is purchase a power cord for an old hard drive that contained my original copies of my Sound Choice songs before I got certified and then contact Sound Choice for a Help+ license to cover those songs since I no longer possess the original disc. I would rather have a fully functional copy of Compuhost being that it gives me the GEM Series plus the new songs for $99.95 plus the price for Songbooks Online. Forgot to mention that I put the support ticket in on Wednesday and have yet to even receive acknowledgement that I even put one in since then.

Just in case you didn't know, They fixed it so that you can play the new song files in ANY software you wish. So if you want new music, since you are certified all you have to do it contact Brian, pay the $25 licensing fee and that will cover your first month. After that, it's $10/month and to the best of my knowledge, if you stop paying the $10/month you can keep the tracks you've already downloaded as long as you keep paying the $25 licencing fee.

I want more than just the new stuff. Right now I only have just under 340 Sound Choice songs. I am in an area where if you don't have a majority of Sound Choice songs then you might aa well hang it up.

You must not be very well liked at your shows...

If you run a good show, treat people fairly, make it a fun night, and they like you... they're going to support you regardless of the versions that you have. Anyone can run a successful show without using any Sound Choice tracks.

You're just looking for excuses. If people are leaving because you don't have the versions they like means you must not be doing a very good job as a host. Maybe you should work on your people skills.

If I had to, I could run a successful night on nothing but Sweet Georgia Brown tracks. Remember, if they like you, they will support you. Your success as a host has nothing to do with the versions you use.
