Rueben and Clay WHO? Sounds like something at a Delicatesen!!

I buy monthly discs... if they're on them, great. Otherwise, I could give a hoot! LOL! I'm SOOOO against the whole American Idol thing... ever since it's inception!

Matt

Well gosh ... just had to put in my .02. It's no secret here that I was an AI watcher ... both singles are doing well ... 'Bridge' is a beautiful song ... it couldn't hoit to have these songs in your book! If (like Matt said) the songs are on a disc of popular songs you want to add ... great! Just because some people think AI stunk doesn't mean the songs did!

I was speaking as a person, not a business owner.

I personally couldn't stand Backstreet Boys, but you HAVE to respect their public sales and appeal. Same same with the A.I. stuff.

OK here are my two cents
First Clay was robbed. LOL
Second no matter how could Bridge is done by clay I still think THE KING did the best rendition of it and I would much rather have that one than any other :)
Should a KJ buy the discs I think if they want to keep current then it's inevitable.

Just as we all suspected, the open casting for American Idol was a hoot.
(Last week sometime)
Thousands showed up, 395 were picked to advance.

The L.A. Times (newspaper) indicates they didn't allways pick the good singers, they often picked the morons in clown suits.

So just as I heard, the clown acts will re-appear on Idol.

Sigh!

JD You are correct but look at it this way for a moment
It is a TV show and it must have ratings.
Part of those ratings come from the clowns get their ***** handed to them by simon. LOL
and By God it wouldn't be american Idol if we couldn't have simon rippin the microphone out of his *** and slammin somebody over the head with it lol

Yes, I'm another AI fan who thought Clay got robbed.

I must say, though the two original songs they chose for those two are snoozers...that Flying without Wings song is dredful. ZZZZZZZZ!

The Clay song (This is the Night) is catchy...I've been known to sing along in the car. Would I do it at karaoke? No, but my one friend has a voice that could do it justice.

I am a Kelly Clarkson fan...I like her music, for the most part. I got lots of compliments both times I sang (and nailed) Miss Independent. It's a crowd pleaser and a total vocal challenge. Warning to KJ's, though...I can see where that song can be totally butchered!
