recently switch from passive to active speaker.

old setup
bose 301 ii , amp and technica tn-890k mixer, shure sm48 mic. The sound not great but the voice seem to go along with the music so it sound not bad.

new setup
qsc cp8, allen&heath zed-10fx mixer and shure sm48 mic. The sound of music are better ,but the voice and the music are not really mixing well. The voice seem broken. It take more breath to sing. It doesn't sound good, the music alone is good. the voice alone seem good.

any suggestion.

No to all, mic are not low, i try multiple effect and music are not too loud compare to voice. Not sure if i need additional equipment. Voice sound dry and take more effort to sing.
