Actually, question, as I am not a host-- There are two formats available at that link. Am I better off getting the MP3+G or the MP4? |

Lyrics are more apt to lag ahead or behind the music when played on different systems(or not at all) Some KJs cannot or will not play them. cdg/mp3 is playable on virtually every karaoke system ever made. Graphics may be jaggy but at least they play somewhat consistently across devices. |

Am I better off getting the MP3+G or the MP4? mp3g (actually comes as a zip file with both the mp3 and cdg files) is the standard and should play on any karaoke software. mp4 and mp4HD are the video versions, cleaner/smoother graphics and colorful backgrounds, but you have to make sure your software has the ability to play them (if you do not know go with the standard zip/mp3g file). Or you can simply play them through something like WIndows Media Player or the equivalent. |
